WHO AM I?
An officer in an office, a householder in a home, a husband to the wife, a son to the parents, a father to the children, a younger brother to an elder brother, an elder brother to a younger brother, a brother to a sister, an employee to the employer, a common man among the public. Likewise in various situations of life, the “I” in everyone assumes myriads of names & designations. In fact, who am “I” actually?
Sometimes the “I’ proclaims that of its citizenships like an American, an Indian, a Brazilian etc or of a particular religion like a Muslim, a Christian, a Hindu etc, etc. Without knowing our own real nature the “I “presumes various levels of identities suiting to the situation. All our activities in the waking state are connected to the body. It has existence as long as the body and the pride in the body exist. When the body goes from waking state to dreaming state, the existence of the state of body vanishes & goes to oblivion. In the dreaming state the body leaves all pride in it and exists as mere life energy. While in dream, the body vicariously experiences various false expressions of life as if in real life. When the body further moves from dream to deep sleep, it loses even the consciousness. As the knower of the activities in the body dissolves into total forgetfulness the body feels nothing in deep sleep. And when the body comes back into waking state from deep sleep, it only remembers that it did not know anything while sleeping. So in all these three states - wakefulness, dream and deep sleep of body & mind, everyone experiences about oneself. From the day first to the last day everyone knows & experiences only in this way as there is no fourth way of experience. So it is clear that everyone is living without the real knowledge of the “I” in everyone. Or else, everyone knows & experiences oneself in the wrong percept. If one analyzes meticulously his knowledge in wakeful state, one can see the end of the reality of deep sleep state. Void or nothingness is the observable knowledge in deep sleep. It is otherwise called ignorance. So we can say that deep sleep is a state of total ignorance of everything. To realize ignorance as ignorance is also a sort of knowledge. If that knowledge is not attained in deep sleep, later we cannot convince that ignorance in wakeful state. It means that someone else is watching, knowing and remembering the ignorance of not knowing anything even in deep sleep. Otherwise it is impossible to remember it later. Who is that watcher? “I” am that. Let us see its real nature further.
It is known that deep sleep is total ignorance & darkness. From that stage goes to wakefulness or dream again. We can observe that all these states are equally states of ignorance & darkness. But in all these states, it is clear that a bright knowledge exists as a witness to all these states and its experiences. That knowledge is the “I” in the various denominations of the body which is unborn and immortal. The experience of not knowing or not remembering anything in deep sleep in this material world is a state of total bliss and painless state even to a chronic cancer patient suffering from excruciating pain. A person who had such a deep sleep comes back from it and says that he had slept well. That experience of happiness & bliss is the real nature of everyone.
“I” am the unborn, eternal, ever pervading, ever witnessing, reason, shining as truth and bliss in every one. “I” am in all and all are in me. “I’ am the subtle of the subtlest and the greater of the greatest. There is nothing other than me. “I” shine as single or millions in everything. One who has known thus the “I” in oneself, knows the “I” in everyone else and everything in this universe as the same and such an enlightened soul never condemns anyone.

For kids
Achieve highest goals through discipline and obedience. Nothing was ever accomplished on this Earth without these two qualities. Be self disciplined and cultivate self control. Obey your inner consciousness and always be true to it. Don't be influenced by circumstances. If the circumstances are hostile, come to a safer zone immediately. Never give others a chance to cheat you up. Don't do anything which would make you feel ashamed of later. All your activities should make you feel happy eventually. God created your soul. Your mother & father created your body & brought you into this world. You create your own experiences in this life from the sum total experiences in your past lives. You have a definite purpose on this Earth. You are here for the evolution of your soul. You are not here to gratify yourself through excesses. You are not here to hate & fight with each other. Accumulation of material conveniences is not your duty. It is only a means to fulfill the purpose of your presence on Earth. So use this rare human life for a better future birth or into moksha from earthly existence.

Children are the gifts of God
Bring up your kids by never beating them up for any faults committed by them. The world is so cruel because many of the births are accidental by the result of cruel, loveless, unplanned union, and we have been bringing up those kids by punishing them physically. A hurt with a harsh word is thousand times worst than a hit with a fist. Never ever use such harsh words also to correct them.
It is not justifiable a 35 year old man physically hurting a 5 year old child even to correct the child. A rough look or a show of disgust is more than enough for a good child to be corrected. Indian culture is a culture of kindness. Indian culture teaches ahimsa, non injury, physically, mentally and emotionally. It preaches against
himsa, hurtfulness."To spare the rod is to spoil the child", is an uncivilized attitude. It's not Indian culture to beat the light out of the eyes of children, to beat the trust out of them, to beat the intelligence out of them and force them to go along with everything in a mindless way and wind up doing a routine, uncreative job the rest of their life, then take their built-up anger out on their children and
beat that generation down to nothingness. This is certainly not the culture of an intelligent future. Remember children are the gifts of God.

Live a life of purpose
Live a life of purpose. Every person was created and designed by God with a specific purpose. Everyone has unique gifts, talents, and abilities. The greatest thing you can do in life is to take those gifts, talents and abilities and use them to do something great. Never compare yourself with anyone, as there is no one exactly like you with all your abilities in this whole universe. Many things in this world are beyond our control, but only you can control the world within you. Your attitude is more important than your aptitude or skill in life. Having a good positive mental attitude will allow you to see things differently and will help you encourage others.See the positive side of every difficult circumstances in life. Our thoughts have tremendous power. If you sow a thought, you reap an action; if you sow an action, you reap a habit; if you sow a habit, you reap character; and if you sow a character, you reap a culture & destiny for a lifetime. What we continually think about today determines who we will become tomorrow. A person who does not love himself can not love any one. So you must cultivate good habits and be proud of yourself.Your words both written and spoken express your culture. You are the continuation of one of the greatest civilizations of the world. Your words should reflect that culture. So mind your words. The moments of today will pass away, but things & happiness that you put into the lives of others are the things that really matter in the later period of your life. Train yourself to forgive others regardless of what they've done to you or how they've hurt you, so that you will be mentally healthy always.
I wish you every success in all your endeavors in life.
